1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MultiSub ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MultiSub is a bilingual subtitle addon for Stremio that translates subtitles into your native language using AI. The Service fetches subtitles from third-party providers, translates them, and delivers them to your media player.
3. User Accounts
You must sign in with a valid OAuth provider (Google, GitHub, etc.) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We identify you by your email address across providers.
4. Subscription & Billing
MultiSub offers free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through your billing dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
5. Usage Limits
Each tier has a monthly quota for subtitle translations. Quota resets monthly regardless of billing cycle. Exceeding your quota will prevent new translations until the next reset.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: automated scraping, reverse engineering, circumventing usage limits, or using the Service for illegal purposes.
7. Intellectual Property
MultiSub does not claim ownership of the subtitles fetched from third-party providers. Translated subtitles are generated by AI and provided for personal, non-commercial use. The Service itself, including its code and design, is the property of MultiSub.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for translation accuracy, service interruptions, or any damages arising from use of the Service.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, all user data is permanently removed.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
